Paul A. Camp papers, 1943-1945.

The collection consists of papers of Paul A. Camp from 1943-1945. The papers include correspondence; printed U.S. Army materials including handbooks, pamphlets, and regulations; photographs of the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp; and copies of the Stars and Stripes and the Yank. The correspondence is from Camp to his aunt, Emily DeVore, written from Belgium, France, Germany, and Czechoslovokia during Camp's service with the 86th Chemical Mortar Battalion during World War II. While the letters mainly contain personal information, they also include some discussion of the various areas, military life, and civilians.
